Yes i LOVE james jean...god hes sooo good! I started doing some sketches in my sketchbook trying to imitate his style with the gesso and the underpainting backgrounds and stuff. he is pretty intense!

Where is the show? do you know? cause if it is nearby then I AM THERE! Id love to see his work up close.

You know about his new art book that just came out? The covers of Fables? My sis just got it but I haven't been able to look at it yet...

I'm not going to go to the opening this saturday, but only the signing on the 29th since it's at the gallery anyway. And yeah, that's the book.

That d'artiste book looks amazing... That's so awesome how they let you flip through it all. I'm really tempted...
